March 6th, 2024 Day 8 of 24 Sea Day

Today was another sea day, it’s for me day. Started my morning like most others by hitting the gym. Got back to the cabin and woke up Megan who decided to stay in and do some schoolwork this morning. I headed to the Pinnacle Grill, and had breakfast solo this morning. Next, we headed to our project Linus time. Then, Megan and I decided we hadn’t had the opportunity to walk through the shops yet, so we took a look to see what there was to see. The rest of the afternoon was spent working on homework and crocheting. This evening we had a special dinner in the Pinnacle grill. There was a guest chef that got on in Japan, who did a lovely multicourse plant-based dinner for us. The food was delicious! Tonight was a Barn Dance and western themed evening. After dinner, Gail and Marty and Megan and I headed over to the billboard for a country, western karaoke and sing-along. It was a lovely day at sea. Looking forward to arriving in our new port tomorrow morning in China. There are a lot of immigration rules and regulations that must be followed and the ship is navigating through them all to make sure we are abiding by their requirements. I don’t envy them their jobs and I appreciate every obstacle that they tackle on our behalf.
